Lucas Hunt is a fundraising auctioneer and master of ceremonies with years of benefit experience. His polished and professional auctions bring consistent and significant value to events. He conducts record-breaking pledge appeals, and is an expert consultant to non-profits.
His auctioneering career began several years ago, when the president of a charitable organization thought that his natural generosity, outgoing nature, and excellent public speaking abilities would make him the perfect person to oversee a black-tie fundraising event, with a high-stakes live auction.
As auctioneer, Mr. Hunt shattered all previous fund-raising records, and far exceeded the expectations of the board of trustees. Word quickly spread through the Hamptons and New York area, and Mr. Hunt was soon flooded with requests by top-tier organizations for his abilities and outstanding professionalism as live auctioneer.
Ten years later, he continues to exceed the expectations of his clients, in how he is able to command generous financial commitments from persons in attendance—and for his unique ability to put everyone in the room at ease by creating an exciting atmosphere of friendliness and good-will.
Lucas Hunt graduated from World Wide College of Auctioneering, holds the coveted Benefit Auctioneer Specialist (BAS) designation, and is an outstanding member of the National Auctioneer’s Association. He is the president of HUNT Auctioneers, and a poet who lives in New York.
